Brazilians creative nature is known worldwide. Creativity is ingrained in the Brazilian society and recognized in individuals from various walks of life, from business leaders to artists, writers, street vendors, soccer players, marketers. Some even made it to Fast Company’s top one hundred most creative people in the world.
As a partner in the Global Innovation Week, BayBrazil will present a special program on Creativity & Innovation in Brazil. On Feb 20 our guest speakers will discuss how Brazilians are using their creative nature to innovate in the sectors of music, design and entrepreneurship.
Join us to meet a musician and three graphic designers – all entrepreneurs who have navigated the dynamics of the Brazilian market. They will share insights on their journey, inventive thinking and reflect on the correlations between Brazilian ingenuity & economic progress and the bond between creativity & innovation.
Speakers:
Belmer Negrillo, Principal Interaction Designer at IDEO. Former design consultant at Ogilvy Interactive and DM9DDB. His work has received awards from Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, The One Show, and the Danish Index:2005.
Daniel Dalarossa, Founder and CEO of Cyclades, ZymiGroup and Choromusic.com. With more than 25 years of experience in computer networking technology and marketing, Daniel has also been a champion for the Choro music style and will have a special participation in this event to talk about creativity in the Brazilian music, from the 18th Century on.
Roger Oddone, Senior Graphic Design at Google. Founder and Creative Director of Roger Oddone Studio. Currently responsible for leading the creation of high visibility branding elements and iconography projects that define the look and feel of Google products.

BayBrazil is presenting this special program as part of the Global Innovation Summit, a conference in Silicon Valley on how to foster the growth of innovation ecosystems. The event seeks to catalyze systemic, sustainable innovation across organizations, communities, and countries.
The first Summit in 2012 brought together over 400 innovators from 49 countries, representing governments, corporations, venture capital, NGOs, startups, and academia. The Global Innovation Week () is a consortium of 20+ leading groups throughout the Bay Area that will co-host affiliated activities related to innovation ecosystems.
