Global Women’s Journey, featuring Brazilian leaders

On Sep 13, we presented the fourth edition of our series Global Women’s Journey.
This time we hosted a group of 19 prominent leaders from Brazil representing privately-owned companies as well as multinational corporations.
The group MEX is engaged in the advancement and empowerment of women in the business world.
During the event, they gave away some copies of their book ‘”Mulheres, Elas Fazem História: Experiências Profissionais, Práticas Empresariais e Reflexões
sobre a Liderança Feminina” (“Women, They Make History: Professional Experiences, Organization Practices and Reflections on Female Leadership”) featuring stories and experiences of women from various backgrounds that overcame significant challenges to achieve professional success while maintaining a balanced personal life. The preface to the book was written by MEX group member Gleisi Hoffman, currently Chief of Staff of the Presidency of the Republic of Brazil, former Federal Senator and CFO of Itaipu, the world’s largest electrical power plant.
