VC funding in Latin America reached a record high in 2019.
According to data gathered by LAVCA, last year’s investments totaled $4.6 billion compared to about $2 billion in 2018.
In Silicon Valley, startups attracted almost $ 46 billion last year but, with the global pandemic, investments are expected to subside this year.
