BayBrazil, on behalf of Brazil IT, in partnership with Consulate General of Brazil in San Francisco’s trade promotion agency, presented:
The High Tech Market in Brazil – Trends & Opportunities
When: Friday, August 24, 1:00pm-4:00pm, in Palo Alto. Event designed for CIOs, CTO, IT managers.
Brazil is the world’s 6th largest economy and the 5th largest ICT market.
According to a recent IDC study, the Brazilian ITC sector turned over $102.6 billion in 2011, 11.3% more than the previous year. And, the sector is poised to continuous growth at high rates. Gartner estimates a 10% increase in 2012, well above the global average of 4.6%.
The country is also the world’s fifth-largest online market with over 75 million daily internet users and 2nd largest user base for both Facebook and Twitter, making it a fertile ground for the IT market to flourish across multiple economic sectors.
See pictures below. An exclusive group of government representatives and industry leaders participated in a discussion on the Brazilian ICT sector, followed a Brazilian coffee tasting.
Thanks to our audience, speakers, the Brazil IT group and the Consulate General of Brazil in SF!
